Daily Announcements for 10/8/25
- Ashley will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, October 22nd. Any student 16 or older is eligible to give blood. If you are interested in giving blood there will be a sign up sheet outside Mrs. Pioszak door. Only students who have signed up will be allowed to give blood. Students who are 16 years old will need to get a parent permission slip signed and turned into Mrs. Pioszak by Monday, October 20th
- Student Section theme for the football game Friday the 10th is Black and Orange.
- PTO Coin War has begun! PreK-8th grade are competing against each other and 9th-12th grades are competing against each other. Positive points are pennies and dollar bills, negative points are nickels, dimes and quarters.
- There is a sign up sheet in the office for High school students who want to help with counting coins on Fridays for the coin war. Only sign up if you are able to stay after school and complete the task. Please know that this could count as volunteer hours if needed.
- There will be NO art club after school today, October 8th.
- The Middle School Robotics team will meet this Thursday, October 9th, in the Wood Shop from 3-5pm.
- Varsity Volleyball game at Akron-Fairgrove Jr./Sr. High School @ 6pm on Thursday, October 9th.
- 9th-11th grade students that have signed up for the Career Quest field trip at SVSU on Friday, October 10th, the bus will be leaving at 9:45am and returning between 2:45-3:00pm.
- High School NHS induction ceremony will take place on Monday, October 13th at 6pm in the library.
- 5th grade trip to Mt. Pleasant is on Wednesday, October 15th scheduled to leave at 9:00am and return at 2:30pm.
- No Mt Pleasant CTE on Friday, October 17th.
- The Book Fair is taking place in the library M-F this week from 8:00am-3:00pm.

See you at Homecoming October 4th. Gates for spectators open at 1:00pm. The only parking that will be allowed back at the field will be emergency vehicles, officials, and coaches. We have limited handicap parking with verification.

Tonight is the night. Monday September 29th we will find the Queen of Hearts tonight. We will draw until the Queen is found. No other cards pay out other than the Queen tonight and we will draw until the Queen of Hearts appears. Be sure to get your tickets at the Shed. We will be selling until 6:50pm Draw will be at 7:00pm. If you don't have tickets in the drum you are guaranteed not to win!

Thank you to Ms. Shelby from the GI-RESD, as well as some of the Ashley 4TH grade students for helping put together the sensory walk! After social emotional collaboration with surrounding districts and hearing what an advantage the sensory walk brings to students, we decided to provide a similar outlet for our Bears!
