Daily Announcements for April 8th, 2026

Ashley will be hosting a blood drive on Thursday April 23rd. Any student 16 or older is eligible to give blood. If you are interested in giving blood there will be a sign up sheet outside Mrs. Pioszak door. Only students who have signed up will be allowed to give blood. Students who are 16 years old will need to get a parent permission slip signed and turned into Ms. Pioszak by Monday April 20th.

Softball will now play at Dansville today April 8th at Dansville. Girls will be dismissed at 1:30pm and the van will leave for Fulton at 1:45pm

Our College & Career Fair will be held on April 16th from 1:00–4:00 PM in the gym.
This is a great opportunity to explore colleges, and careers.💬 Come prepared with questions to ask representatives—students who bring questions will be entered into a drawing for an extra prize!

Varsity baseball will play Ithaca today at Fulton in a single game at 4:30pm. The van will leave at 3:15pm

Baseball and softball will play Merrill at Fulton on Thursday April 9th. Athletes will be dismissed at 2:30pm and the van will leave at 2:45pm

Kindergarten-5th grade get your summer camp forms back to Ms. Tammy as soon as possible. Extra forms are in the library.

There will be a Middle School Student Council meeting after school this Thursday.

Youth baseball (PeeWee and Little League) practice will begin next week weather permitting. Coaches will be in touch with families on exact days and times.

As the Spring Carnival approaches, donations are needed for the high school and middle school baskets. This year’s high school basket theme is ‘camping’ and the middle school theme is ‘coffee lovers’. These baskets will be raffled off to the highest bidder during our school’s spring carnival. Middle school donations can be dropped off in Mrs. Fleischer’s classroom.

Following the recent retirement announcements of Ashley Community Schools Superintendent/High School Principal Traci Gavenda and Fulton Schools Superintendent Thomas Torok, the Boards of Education for Ashley Community Schools and Fulton Schools have come together to take an exciting next step for our districts.

Both boards have agreed to work collaboratively to hire one superintendent who will serve both school districts, strengthening partnerships and ensuring continued leadership and support for students, staff, and families in our communities.

Ashley Schools participated in the voluntary statewide tornado drill at 1:00 p.m. today. Our students and staff did a great job quickly and safely getting to their designated areas. 🌪️
