Following the recent retirement announcements of Ashley Community Schools Superintendent/High School Principal Traci Gavenda and Fulton Schools Superintendent Thomas Torok, the Boards of Education for Ashley Community Schools and Fulton Schools have come together to take an exciting next step for our districts.
Both boards have agreed to work collaboratively to hire one superintendent who will serve both school districts, strengthening partnerships and ensuring continued leadership and support for students, staff, and families in our communities.

Our College & Career Fair will be held on April 16th from 1:00–4:00 PM in the gym.
This is a great opportunity to explore colleges, and careers.💬 Come prepared with questions to ask representatives—students who bring questions will be entered into a drawing for an extra prize!
🎟️ We will also be holding our raffle again this year, so don’t miss your chance to win!

It’s time to get your act together! We are looking for High School acts to compete for spots in the League Traveling Talent Show! This is not limited to singing! Get creative, have some fun and share your talents with the rest of us! See Mrs. Smith!
This afternoon The Ashley Middle School Student Council is sponsoring a Dr. Pinball tournament. 5th/7th vs. 6th/8th grade Winners of this bracket will play the staff. Students should report to their 7th hour for attendance first.
The Lions Club community service sheets are due and can be turned in to the High School office

The varsity baseball game for today vs Saranac has been canceled. Baseball will practice at 5pm. The van will leave at 4:30pm. The varsity softball game vs Saranac will be played as scheduled today.

Ashley Schools participated in the voluntary statewide tornado drill at 1:00 p.m. today. Our students and staff did a great job quickly and safely getting to their designated areas. 🌪️

Today, Trooper Travis read to our elementary students for March is Reading Month!




3rd and 4th grade worked super hard in February that they earned a Lego Day! Today they got to come to the library to play legos with Ms. Tammy.










🧵✂️ Seventh graders are learning valuable skills in Life Skills class as they practice sewing! From threading needles to creating their own projects, students are building patience, creativity, and confidence along the way. Great work, 7th grade! 😊
😊💬 Third and fourth graders had a great time during their Social Emotional Learning (SEL) time today with Ms. Rivera! Students enjoyed activities that help build strong friendships, communication skills, and a positive classroom community. 💙
📚✨ Fourth grade had a special visit from Mrs. Hungerford, who joined the class as a guest reader for March is Reading Month! Thank you, Mrs. Hungerford, for sharing a story and helping inspire our students’ love of reading. 📖💙
